A pair of inseparable Yorkshire Terriers named Ellie and Billy are seeking a new home together after their owner could no longer care for them.

The Yorkies were taken to Bury’s Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary in January 2023, and the sanctuary is now hoping to find a new loving home for them.

Ellie and Billy, aged seven and eight respectively, have been together for their entire lives, and are described as a bonded pair, much like a married couple.

While they may occasionally squabble, the two Yorkies are inseparable and share a deep bond.

The sanctuary reports that they love being petted and stroked, and enjoy spending time outdoors and playing off-leash in the garden.

The Yorkies are hoping to find a home with someone who can take them both, as they have never been apart from each other.

They would do best in a pet-free home, and could live with an individual, couple, or family with children who are 12 years old or older. The adoption fee for the pair is usually £175, but this can sometimes be reduced for senior dogs or multiple pets.

If you are interested in adopting Ellie and Billy, you can visit the Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary from Thursday to Sunday between 11am and 4pm.

The sanctuary is located in Lancastarshire, UK.

The Yorkies are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up-to-date on their flea treatment.
